This creature concept started as a very rough sketch in ZBrush using Dynamesh. Rather than polishing the sculpture in ZBrush, I gave it a quick polypaint pass and used the ZBrush-to-Keyshot bridge to render an image with a translucent material. I then took the rendered image and tweaked the design of the creature by painting over the render in Photoshop.
