Single pass BPR Creatures
About the project
This creature was one of the first attempts to render a good looking image within ZBrush using a single pass and filters. The model has a material with 4 shaders that provides diffuse, specular and sub-surface scattering to the rendering process. I enabled Shadows, AO, SSS, Mask and Depth on the render palette, which I then used to control some of the effects given by the filters.
Sculpted with dynamesh and textured using polypaint. Here is a time-lapse of the process.
Realistic Skin Using BPR Single Pass
Here is another example using the same rendering approach from the creatures above. The only difference is that this is a more detailed model (both sculpt and texture).
